Akash Raj Halankar
With a love for art and a passion to create, ventured into the field of fine art at the age of four and since then, his rendezvous with strokes, colours and expression began. He has had two solo exhibitions at the age of five and eight, one of which was titled ‘Trilokya’- An exhibition on Lord Ganesha. Mastering his skills over the years, with practice, observation and eagerness to learn, he joined the illustrious Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai, to pursue his B.F.A. (Applied Art) degree and there began his tryst with the world of communication and design. Having won many accolades for his work in college, he specialized in illustration. Aceing the Final Year University Degree Examination, he then shifted his focus onto Graphic Design. Presently doing his Post Graduation in Graphic Design at the renowned National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Akash dreams on, realizing that the mantra to grow in this field is- “Boundless knowledge with Undying passion”.
